Today we hiked Badlands National Park… it’s a striking landscape, like something out of a movie… a maze of buttes, canyons, pinnacles and spires, surrounded by mixed grass prairie! It’s desolation at its truest, you can look for miles and see no sign of civilization, except for the tourists, haha. So happy we got to experience it. We hiked the Notch Trail.

Badlands National Park is located in southwestern South Dakota and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Ben Reifel Vistors Centeris open hours vary depending on season and an entrance fee is collected year round. More info can be found here.
